eXPLORE GALENA

One of the best things about staying at Miss Murphy’s High Street Inn is how easy it is to experience Galena. The inn is just a short walk from Main Street, close enough that you do not need to drive, yet far enough above town to feel quiet and settled when you return.

This page is a starting point for exploring the area. Below are some of our favorite places to eat, drink, explore, and unwind. Think of us as your local guides. We are always happy to help fine-tune plans or offer suggestions based on your interests.

Shopping & Wandering

Galena’s historic Main Street is lined with too many independent boutiques, galleries, and specialty shops to count, which is perfect for unhurried browsing. Many of our guests tell us their favorite afternoons are the unplanned ones: popping into shops, stopping for coffee or a glass of wine, and letting the day unfold naturally.
